About Us
Greenland Landscape and Masonry was established in 1981 by Mike and Marta Garland. Our key strength is the combination of our talents and involvement in each project from design to conception.
All phases of your project are supervised personally by the owners. Our focus remains in residential design but our satisfied customers have contracted with us to design and install their commercial landscaping projects as well. Greenland Landscape and Masonry designs include a church memorial gardens, private elementary school, medical office and an industrial facility.
We have long term employees and our team of subcontractors are owner operators like ourselves. You never have to worry about the quality of people we employ to work on your property.

| Marta Garland, ASLA, Registerered Landscape Architect
Marta received her BS in Landscape Architecture at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona. She is a registered Landscape Architect in the State of Georgia. Marta relocated to the Atlanta area after falling in love with the lush magical gardens of the south and started Greenland Landscape and Masonry in 1981. Marta designs the projects, oversees the landscaping and will return for garden maintenance. She has served as officers for the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and for the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD).

| Mike Garland, Certified Structural Mason Contractor
Mike is an Atlanta native. He has over 30 years experience in the garden center industry and in commercial landscape installation. Fifteen years ago, he began working with masonry, learning the craft working with masons from England. He has installed numerous masonry projects from Buckhead in Atlanta to Chateau Elan in Braselton. His work has been exhibited twice at the Atlanta Symphony Decorator’s Showhouse, and at the Atlanta Flower and Garden Show.
